Finding a diaper that will keep a baby dry for 12+ hours of nursing and peeing and sleeping can be a challenge. Though most babies will do fine in their regular diaper plus a doubler, some babies need something more heavy-duty. Here are some of my favorite combinations for night time.

For the super heavy-wetting side-sleeper:

Two prefolds + Snappi + Dancing Bears

Hemparoo fleece prefold jelly-rolled on + Joey-Bunz Premium + any cover

sustainablebabyish fitted with its included doubler + sustainablebabyish double layer wool cover

GAD semi-fitted + GAD hemp insert + Joey-Bunz + microfiber doubler + Dancing Bears

DryBees Gone Natural + Hemp Babies Doubler + Dancing Bears or Thirsties

For the heavy wetter:

Bamboozle + Joey-Bunz premium + Bummis Super Brite

Kissaluv + Super Soaker Doubler + Thirsties

GAD Windpro Fleece Pocket or DryBees Fleece Pocket + Super-Do

For the average wetter:

Prefold + Joey-Bunz premium + Thirsties

Bum-Genius! 3.0 + Joey-Bunz

FuzziBunz + Joey-Bunz

GAD stuffable AIO + GAD hemp insert

For a newborn (you need to change them often but they pee a lot and are tiny!):

Kissaluvs 0 + two boosters + Extra Small Thirsties

You can add either a stay-dry fleece liner or a raw silk liner to any of these combinations to keep baby feeling drier.
